The prairies of southern Manitoba make an ideal backdrop for a rural wedding. The acreage near the town of Souris was picture perfect with a lush garden and a classic red barn to set the scene.
With soaring temperatures and humidity of mid summer, it was essential to keep both the bridal party and the groomsmen cool leading up to the ceremony. Afterward, available shade was sought to keep everyone composed and looking their best for formal photography.
Contrasting against the red barn, Terri was especially luminous; shinning brightly on that summer’s day. The Souris Swinging Bridge is a famous local landmark with both Mike and Terri spending time there as children. As husband and wife they revisit Canada’s longest suspension bridge, making new memories at this local famous location.
